Had a wonderful time with my tep clique yesterday, we went to a couple of places. Our trip is all about foods. Eat eat and eat! Makan sutra..

Catch this movie with nic`today. Very nice movie, realistic plot and it is damn hilarious.

And I cant believe I actually shed a tear or two while watching that movie, kinda touching ya know.

Yeah, I dont mind watching it again, third time or forth time =) with her of cause. Highly recommended movie!

After watching the movie, went down to Kallang to catch the firework. Manage to reach in time before it start, the fireworks as usual were very stunning. Esp the last finale'. Sadly speaking, it was too short.. kinda expect more things. Nvm, I heard from Nic`there are gonna be more fireworks display next week, over at the esplanade.

And we brought zinger meals there, haha picnic! Overall, it was worth the trip travelling all the way to kallang jus to catch the firework =)

Went Geylang-ing (where are you all thinking!) after that, actually is some kind of site-sighting. Lotsa of people, esp cheena and bangla there! And there were lot of NICE foods around, but a pity we cant find the beancurd shop. Basically, we jus walk all the way from Kallang to Aljunied and took the train home. Aimless walk, but times well spent.

Fruitella Day yeah? only she know what it mean. Ha-Ha!

One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.

She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?"

Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."

The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"

I wouldnt mess with those children if I were you. HAHA =)

moment of pure indulgence

Tiramisu - An Italian cheesecake made from mascapone cheese. The finger sponge is soaked in an espresso syrup with brandy & white rum. The mousse is flavoured with masala wine. Their Tiramisu is better than other bakery shop.

Sweet Pleasure - Layers of hazelnut praline dacquoise, Jivara milk chocolate ganache with fleur de sel, topped with chocolate mousse. A personal favourite!

Lavande - Lavender infused dark chocolate mousse cake with macaroons on the side. This is also my first time trying this cake with her.. =) Very sweet choc

Crazy Saturday. Wala Wala! I just love the 'la' thing and it kinda rhythm in my head. HAHA!

I started off my day by meeting cw around two in town. Supposedly meeting xy and her friends at 5, I decided to go earlier to purchase something around Wisma. I wandered around Tangs plaza before cw reached... and saw some nice watches at level 4. But the pricing kinda put me off, urgh.

Bought some clothes from Giordano as it was on great offer and seriously speaking, I am deprived of some nice home clothes to wear.
XY and Charles came around six and we decided to settle down at Wisma food republic first before the rest of the girls come. They had hokkien mee for their dinner, but I didn't order as I'm rather bored of their noodles. No appetite for dory fish too =(
HY (huiyin) came shortly when most of them are done, and we decided to walk around taka before Charles left with his galfren. XY suggested Scott's food court since HY is hungry. I decided to settle down on Thais cuisine, but the tom yam was not that appealing to me, rather sour! HA(hui an) came around seven.

We went to numerous places after dinner, practically aimless walking. I bought a hair blower for my mum from Tangs. Shop around Galleria , but didn't buy anything. The path along Scott’s road was pretty happening with street buskers all along the street. And there was this punk girl who was trying very hard to bring up the high while performing her rock gig, unfortunately she failed. Poor thing! HAHA, eh I think I shouldn't laugh at people.
Catch a game of pool with the girls which were pleasantly played. Cw was like giving chances throughout the game la, how generous of him! Ahahaha.
Last but not least, Orchard Tower! Saw something not eye pleasing, but overall it was a fun experience.

Hmm I do not wish to talk about it unless you want to lose your appetite immediately. HA-HA =)

The night was late and the girls decided to leave earlier. After sending them off to the train station, I meet up with K` at Liang Seah Street for some late-night supper and drinking. Called along cw to go along too since he don’t have anything on for that night.
Bossy K` reached earlier and gave me five calls just to check where we were. Very impatient ah? Ai Zai!

We popped by a random pub around that street. Smokey area and drowsy ambience, not happening at all..! The place just don’t seem appealing to me.

So I suggested Wala Wala at Holland V since all of us have not been there before. Took a cab there. Midnight cab is so absurd, ahhhh terrible! We check out Eski bar first but K` is still not of legal age yet, so we can't enter. PLEASE HURRY GROWS UP CAN? lolz! Saw Alex with his group of friends outside Eski Bar.

Not much of a choice, we decided to have our drinks at Wala Wala, and ordered some chilling vodka. Very packed as expected, there was a live rock band at the second level, but we can't get any place to stand, not to even mention seats.

After downing the first cup, hunger took the better of us. I just find it uncomfortable drinking on an empty stomach. Located this nice restaurant by the name of Al Dente Trattoria beside Wala Wala and had some late night pizza for supper . The ambience was AWESOME and the service was great.
We had a pleasing short conversation with the manager as we learned more about the restaurant from him. This is a highly recommended restaurant! If you want find a restaurant with good ambience, go for this! The pricing is acceptable too. He also mentioned that there are several outlets at Boat Quay and Esplanade mall as well. However we didnt stay there for long as we went back to Wala Wala to get out last drink before they closed for the day.

3am in the morning, physically tired and exhausted, home is the still last thing in our mind. Thinking of a place to slack and maybe catching the sunrise, K` suggested esplanade and we cabbed there. Jian An joined us later after his work and brought over some snacks and a half dozen of beers. But I didn't drink any since warm beer is not very appealing to me. HAHAHA.
We stayed there and crapped a fair bit till 6am. Catch one of the earliest trains and manage to reach home in one piece. What a long and tired Saturday.
The night breeze was cool and viewing Fullerton hotel from a distance was simply stunning.

Will be having dinner with my parents in Yishun later, my uncle will be treating us some abalones and fins. It has been ages since I enjoyed moment of indulgence with abalones. How anticipating!

Oh yarh! I want collect the small absolute vodka bottles from 7-11, around $8 per bottle. If anyone happens to spot it, please kindly tell me! Take care guys and stay happy always!

Had a totally random crazy day. We went around the school taking pictures, according to sam which was to kill time. HAHAHA.

Bought a sandal from Urban Male which I think is pretty cool. And a random shirt from Flesh Imp. Basically we just shop around with nothing in mind. Which is pretty dumb. Oh yarh, saw HY feeding his gf in far east, you making my crispy chicken very sweet okay!

And John, shiya and peishan make fred angry today. HAHA. It is very very very rare that you will find fred getting pissed off, let me emphasis the word again very. But he is alright now.. I guess? HA-HA. Cheer up dude!

I am so tired now. Will be having basketball game in school tomorrow. And it is the last day for us in BSU =( Hope we can make it a memorable one, something that can be throw deep into our heart, happy memories only.

Ya hooooooooooooooooooo!

I finally done with my report. As what I have described earlier, a perfect piece of shit essay. Full of crap.. HAHA.

Well today, I met up with my long time colleagues which we didnt have the chance to meet for two years.
Zhengxin, Liwei, Yien Shan and Faith. They are a great bunch of people. Very nice.
My first group of colleagues I know when I first started work in the fragrance line, I can still remember vividly the two weeks we worked together in the 04 X'mas promotion over at PS.
All the laughter, crapping and more interesting, gossiping about others. Ahahaha!

We had our dinner in Manhatten fish market, do some catching up and stuffs. But seriously speaking, I'm sick of their food there, though I hardly frequent there. Dont ask me why, maybe I should stick with my fisnco.
After the splendid dinner, we went over to TCC and have some desserts. Chillout! Ordered my favourite dark devotion as usual.

Liwei and Zhengxin as usual, keep suan-ing me thoughout our conversation. Giving comments about my specs, my hair, my height etc. BLAH BLAH .. HAHA never change? Freaks, so that is what you all learnt in ntu ah? =P
Yien Shan and Faith didnt change much either, except prettier! Especially Faith. Er WOW? Dont know the definite word to describe her, super pretty yarh? HAHAHA.

All are us are leading different lives now. LW and ZX are finishing their degree course in NTU. But LW is flying to Hongkong soon in august for an exchange program. Yien Shan is studying now in SIM. Well Faith is having a full-time marketing job in Great World.

How times fly! Two years in a blink of an eye.
I hope we can have another gathering, but I guess not in the near future.

Extreme Random

Last night was a totally random night, I mean very .
After a shiokie bball game in the evening, I was actually determined to finish my report by last night. But after a series of events, I am here in this 'wee' hours of this drowsy afternoon doing my report. Argh!

Supposely doing my report yesterday, sam asked me to go mos which was totally random. Very last minute actually. Then K` called too. Coincidentally, both were asking the very same question. With much persuasive effort by K`, I fell onto her hand.. So I went to meet her first before meeting sam in the club.

When I was about to reach mos with K`, sam called and said the most dumbass retarded thing on earth.
'Sorrrrrrry teejun, we changed to liquidroom.. not mos. My fren can't get in because she is 17.' HAHA! that is soooooo random sam.

Like two idiots stranded in the middle of the road, we can't go in as K` is still not of legal age. And we were thinking of borrowing an I.C from any random stranger just to get out butts inside. Anyway, it is a bad idea because we don't think any stranger will lend us haha.
k` dont want go any pub or whatsoever, so we were like cracking our brain of where to go.

By chance, an apple happened to drop on her head, K` said singing! Not much of a choice, we took a cab down to cine. Sing till 6am in the morning. LMAO I got Ah DU sang ying now. Call me if you wan hear my sexy voice.

Spent 50 bucks on one random absurd night. Took three midnight cabs which was totally crazy.

Eh Can someone give me motivation to save money?
I'm going to be a pauper, real broke =(

It turned out to be a very funny movie filled with catchy storyline and sickening humour.

And Captain Jack Sparrow is damn funny! Johnny Depp, nice moustache you have there.

And after movie, we have some punggol nasi lemak at kovan outlet there. SUPERB! especially their drumstick. Long queue as usual and slightly more exp than your average next stall nasi lemak, but it is worth the effort and money. AHHH! sry no pic here, to save you all from the temptation.. winks*

Spend some time fixing my dear over the weekend. She has been cold to me since last week, totally unpredictable. And she gave me the last signal on Friday that she is leaving me for good. Fortunately for her, I can't find a replacement in such a short notice, so I decided to woo her back and fixed her.
Well guys, I'm talking about my desktop, and I decided to specify her gender as a female because of the hot and cold treatment she gave me. Ha-ha! Sorry for the misleading information =P

Went to the newly open Newton food court last Friday after school. Had some difficulty locating my favorite Hokkien Mee stall, which was pretty embarrassing considering that I have been there a couple of times. How could I forget that it is actually located beside the car park? My memory is failing me. HAHA. And I ate some stingray at this 'happening' stall, and there is one word to describe it.
Terrible'... =( The worst stingray I ever ate.

Will be dropping by SBC (Singapore basketball center) later to watch the guys' final. Basketball games never fail to excite me. After which I will join Mel's they all at Chen Wei's house to watch the final match of the world cup.

Hope Minyi can win combined school red later. And stop their winning streak.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, ITALY WILL BEAT FRANCE AND WIN THE WORLD CUP! =D

My Adidas superstar shoe is spoilt (thanks to the bball game I had earlier). Holy crap. Never mind, this give me another reason to buy a new pair. Ahh that air dunk that I've been eyeing for ages. =P
Ha-ha.

Had a game of basketball with Bryan they all. It is kinda like a game of physical and pain, all rowdy. Play a simple game of 5v5, but it is more than a game. Inflicting injuries just to get the ball, not a smart play I suppose. Fortunately, Bryan and I were not part of the injury team. If you didn't count those scratch marks on my hand. Ha-ha!

Somehow, my skill is all rusty up. Damn. Even my shooting was down. Sorry dude for losing the last game in which we can actually won. And some of those selfish play that I try to demonstrate. How unlike me! Urgh.

Never mind, we can always have more games in the future. And teach me some dunkin' skill okay? Ahaha. Worse come to worse, you can always lend me your lap =)

p.s too many girls are wearing mango and zara tops, now its too common on the streets.. I saw a joke regarding singapore girls, and one of their trade is having at least a mango top.

Always look on the bright side of life

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by.

Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it. In his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days and weeks passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the
window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.

He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.

It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, ''Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you''

Epilogue:

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect, it means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections. Happiness should be shared, cause it is such a beautiful thing. Somehow it make me feel and understand the beautiful side of tep. Everything is there for a reason. With the chance to know great friends and hang out with them, I am looking forward to come school now.

p.s Thanks for all the concerns, I'm fine =) I looking forward to classical teaching where I can mug all day long. lol!

Letter to dad

A father passing by his teenage son's bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was neat and tidy. Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the centre of the pillow. It was addressed ''Dad''. With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:-

Dear Dad,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you, but I'm leaving home. I had to elope with my new galfriend Elva because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mom and you. I've been finding real passion with Elva and she is so nice to me. I know when you meet her you'll like her too - even with all her piercing, tattoos, and motorcycle clothes. But it's not only the passion Dad, I'm happy because Elva said that she wants to bore me a kid and that we can be very happy together. Even though Elva is much younger than me (anyway, 15 isn't so young these days is it?), and has lot of money, really these things shouldn't stand in the way of our relationship, don't you agree?

Elva has a great CD collection; she already owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. It's true she has other boyfriends as well but I know she'll be faithful to me in her own way. She wants to have many more children with me and that's now one of my dreams too.

Elva taught me that marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone and she'll be growing it for us and we'll trade it with our friends for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, we'll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so she can get better; she sure deserves it!!

Don't worry Dad, Im 18 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I'm sure we'll be back to visit so you can get to know your grandchildren.

An ant knocks the door of a HDB flat one day.
House owner opens the door.
'I want a place to stay', said the ant.
'I have a vacant room which you can occupy for free of cost', said the owner. Ant went inside and occupied that vacant room.
After some days, the ant brought in another ant and requested the owner
'Can you please allow this ant to stay along with me,' asked the ant.
'Oh sure, you can do so without paying any rent', said the owner.
After some days the ant brought one more ant and requested the owner to allow that ant to stay with it. Owner agreed to it without asking for any rent. This continued i.e ant brings in one more ant and owner agrees for it.
On one fine day, the ant brought in tenth ant and requested the owner to allow that tenth ant also to stay with it.
The owner said 'Ok, you all can stay here but you need to pay rent'.

Nice try Fredrick! Not a lot of people can understand your kind of joke, however I do! Appreciate it.

Tiring day today, went play basketball since morning till five. Some kind of personal training, my physical condition is going down. Urgh! Guess I gotta hit the gym soon again. TIRED

Style Magazine beach party

I woke up this morning with a headache. What a great day to start with ah? Somehow, it subsided after I eaten my breakfast. Phew!

Meet Bryan at 2.30pm, he was late. He was one hell of a joker. He reminded me of Jian An, another fren of mine. The way they talk I mean. Very similar. He is very lean, fair and carry that kind of boyish look. He told me he was from commando last time and this really keeps me thinking how commando was chosen. -it not always hard to imagine- =D

Anyway, we had a quick lunch at harbourfront hawker there, and we chatted some crap. Surprisingly, we clicked really well though this is the first time we met. Perhaps we shared lot of things in common. Great personality.

We reached Siloso beach around 3.30pm, half an hour earlier before the actual time. Estee, our brand manager reached there earlier. And she brought her whole family there as well! HA-HA. It turns out to be a private event held by STYLE magazine, at Siloso sunset bay. That mean you only get to be there if you receive any invitation from them, talk about high class society.

Met this really hot girl by the name of Audrey and she is a real eye candy. She was there doing a solo promotion of a skincare product beside my booth, but she was like there tanning under the sun. Bikinis, that kind of thing. LOL. She was asked to take part in 'Vote for your hottest hunks and babes' contest, lucky for her. And she still managed to win a swatch watch. How cool is that?! There were several celebrities and mtv deejays hosting the event, but I cant remember their names. Not that famous I guess? =p

I walked around the booths there and guess what I found there? Air tattoo. Ha-ha, I gave it a try and the nice aunty told me that it could stay there for like five days? How I wish I can own some of their air spray guns =)

And there was this drum band who play really awesome beat! Rock on guys. they really heated up the atmosphere.

Had a very sumptuous dinner. It was buffet, yummy. Supposedly held for the invited guests, Estee pass me a red band and ask me to wear it on my hand. She said all I gotta' to is to just flash the red band in front of them and I get to eat it too. Wahaha! Their cocktail is awesome!

There was a magic show by a hunky guy who get pick up by the emcees from the audience stand. And by chance, he does know some magic. WOA! Ha-ha, that is what I called random. Ate some free Hagen daz ice-creams, raspberry rocks as usual. And I play some beach volleyball with Bryan. It was funz.

After dinner, I saw Bryan with a beer on his hand, I was like wdf? Got drink never jio.

'Hey, how you get the beer? You go that bar and buy ah?' I walk over and ask him, very astonished.

'No la, FREE. YOu tell that aunty you want a beer and she will just give it to you! but you need to point to that red band of yours in order to get it for free.' He replied while taking deep sip of the drink.

WOW, free flow beer! Why not? So I rushed over there and try to get one for myself. And the aunty there was trying to act cute. I think she was.

'You wan a beer? Are you eighteen already?' She questioned me with doubt in her tone.

'Yap, eighteen already. Eh, thanks for your compliment ah. Lot of girls said that I look young too. Ha-ha. You wan check my IC?' (throw stones at me*)

I realized my wallet was in my bag after I said that. Luckily she didn't ask for it, and I get my free beer. Phew! Lucky me.

Finish everything around 7.30, supposed to end at 9pm. But Estee said we can start packing up , because most of the people left already. Took one more shot before I left the island. Sentosa look lovely during evening time, and today weather is superb. I love Sentosa! esp today.

Didn't play basketball just now.

Nafa testing ends later than I expected. 3 hours I think, till 8pm. So sorry fel', will play with ya again next time? =(

Will be in Sentosa tomorrow. Doing fragrance promotion along Siloso beach, come and support me alright? If everything went as plan, I will be there from morning till night. woohoo!

Hope Mr. Sun support me tomorrow, and not forgetting Ms Moon too. Hunk and babes, see ya there!

My remedy

Had a great day yesterday, though thing turn out nasty after the dinner. Unhappy thing shouldn't be mentioned in my blog and I seem to have forgotten about it already. Thanks god for blessing me with this unbelievable memory.

We had our share of laughter and fun at the steamboat dinner last night, and the Ritz strudel is surprisingly very nice. Ate the strawberry and Wei Wei get turn on by how I ate it. Just kidding ha-ha =)

Having nafa testing soon, hope it does not take very long. Meeting fel' for basketball ard evening time. I am so tired. Feel real bad for rejecting her so many times, and this time she is coming all the way here to play. Being tired is not a satisfactory reason to reject her good offer. Hope I wont screw up the game later, just imagine how embarrassing it would be.
