We need to understand there are different colours of roses. And different color have different meaning, thus before you try to impress that someone with that bouquet of roses, make sure you know the meaning behind it, the meaning of roses; what the number of roses represent :)

Meaning of Colour of Roses:

Red - Sincere Love & Respect, Courage & Passion. Send red roses to convey the message of your passionate love for that someone; saying "I love you"

Pink - Grace and Gentility, the rose of sweet thoughts. Send deep pink roses to show your appreciation & gratitude; saying "Thank you". Send light pink roses to convey admiration and sympathy

Yellow - In the Victorian times, yellow roses meant jealousy. But today, they signify friendship, joy, gladness and freedom, the promise of a new beginning. Send yellow roses to brighten up someone's day; to congratulate your friends and loved ones during Joyous occasions.

White - Spiritual love & Purity, the rose of confession, the bridal rose; "You are heavenly", "I am worthy of you". Commonly used as traditional bridal bouquet during weddings to symbolize a happy love. You can nevertheless use them to convey the message of "You are heavenly, I miss you."

Lavender - Love at first sight and enchantment. Send lavender roses of course, to convey the message of your "love at first sight" with that special someone. You can nevertheless also send them if you would like to make a special impression.

Orange - Passionate desire, pure enthusiasm and fascination. An excellent choice for a new relationship that you wish to pursue further. It can nevertheless also be referring to a new business partnership.

There are many different sets of different meanings for the numbers of flowers given to and apparently, the set I followed is this:

We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another.
Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with.
We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage.
We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire.

The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when?

Your life will always be filled with challenges.
It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway.
One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred D Souza.

He said,

"For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life".

This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have. And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time.. and remember that time waits for no one..

Supposely meeting her, but she was not feeling well. So yah, nevertheless is still alrite :)
Had basketball in the morning at skcc, good form pls! ohmygawk okayy I'm lovin' it. Ahahaha.
Finger-roll, killer layup blah blah etc, err let me engross a lit' bit more.Oops, pardon my random act.

Watched Little Man today with TY. We were supposed to meet at 2.30 but I reached earlier. So yah, I jus dazed outside Zara and ehem 'observing' the crowd there. Most people just go into that shop and came out empty-handed. Rofl!

On a lighter note, this was a very nice show. Had a good laugh, and both Marlon and Shawn Wayans was super hilarious. Gu-gu-gaga! Jeez, but the show was rather short. And I heard Miami Vice and The Banquet was not that nice.

Okayy, I bought a polo tee from heeren (no, I didnt see Tammi when I was there), TY bought a long sleeve top. Seriously, retails therapy is still the best treatment so far. But, the aftermath damage was potentially harmful for the wallet! (sigh big time)

After the movie, we chilled around town before meeting Mr Lim and the guys at ps. Nothing much, just aimless walking.

Okay, PS was having some bridal gown modelling show. Those models were really gorgeous. Tall, graceful and elegant, killer figure mind you. And one of them almost tripped over her gown. Imagine if she really tripped? Awwww :/

Had swensen for dinner. Baked rice rocks big time! Especially curry baked rice. I'm loving it, lala la-la-la! Yah, saw some eye candies too.

Then we walked over to Raffles city to have some dessert. Usual Bakerzin. Hmm new york cheese cake and lavander tea for me. Of cause, I didnt eat the whole cake lah.

Oh yah, we were discussing some big topics about 'the speed of light' and 'time travelling'. Now I know how time travel work, and I dont mind travelling to the future! lols, eh I guess I think too much lah.

I always look forward to Ms Prema lesson, actually a lit' bit more than Ms Tee`.
Yah today was the last lesson on 'Customer Service', and after tt we wont get to see her again (except around the school).

Anw, we were asked to make a hamper and was given only 30 mins.
With very limited materials (small basket, fake fruits, and some paper ribbons), we must put our creativity to the test in creating an attractive hamper, w/o buying any more stuffs etc.

Well.. we managed to get praised by her (not really becos of the design). So yah, it turn out pretty alrite and the most fun was the process making it :) oh yah, we play some crossword puzzle aft tt which was abit chim lah.

Jack and Hsien Yew busy with the decor. For goodness sake, they were trying to put the marble into the uninflatuated balloon.

Ehem, caught you playing psp! er okie, I was playing with my phone too.

HAHA, we managed to put one marble inside after bursting like 4 balloons.

Doing such touch-up, nice okay! It was done by an all-guy group pls. (with the help of chee's psp box)

SIM! Ahahaha, it been awhile since I went gate-crashing. Not forgetting the 1hr mrt trip. But yah, it was nice.

Went town after everything has ended, with sis' and ty. Took a bus followed by mrt, yah it was really far travelling from clementi to orchard. Pity those students there, haha! Anyway, we went over to taka to buy smth for our nephew and niece. They bought two stickers, while I got some stationery notes for them. Then over to Heeren action city, bought 2 lovable stuff toys lah. Haha it's cute please.

Mr Lim came ard 7pm after his workout at California Fitness, yapp a dinner together. Glamis, BT, and KH didnt turn up (I think they were busy mugging for their As). Omg, Mr Lim randomly initiated some kind of restuarant at meritus mandarin at first, but we all know it was exp. So ty said Village instead since we all were at Heeren alr. So yah, we ate there! My first time please, hahaha! Ahhh, the concept was almost the same as Marche lah, not much differences. Too bad, we didnt have the chance to try their mee goreng :( Butttt, their crayfish and baked rice rock lah! So is alrite :)

Then went over to paragon bakerzin for some dessert. Today tiramisu was kinda weird, their alcohol level in the cake was unusually high, but shiok lah lols! Had some rose tea, since my throat was acting up (again!).

She came and meet me after everything has ended. Her face was reflecting fatigue, and I was kinda worried :( I've been through this, and I know it's not good to stay up late at night. Especially when you are mugging for exam, the stress level will be higher.

Put this aside, we took mrt and a bus home and kinda talk alot along the way (and you saw my drawing! so ugly please). Anyway, I had a long day but friday is not another day I will forget it away :))

She was known as a war heroine, a humanitarian, a politician and a teacher.
She died on Thursday, after a battle with cancer.

"Teaching is a noble profession. You have young people and you help to mould them so teaching is very important," said Elizabeth.

I recalled that she was a great and inspiring person from history during sec sch.

Basketball in the morning at skcc, it was horrible play. Piece of shit can. Missing simple shots, bad dribbling, horrendous gameplay. Alrite, I shouldnt blame anyone but myself, just simply cannot enjoy the game today. Damn shit please. Oh yah, sprained my finger too :(

Meet zhi bear downtown in the afternoon. Bag for me, and shoe for him. I end up buying facial products, and not any bag lols! Aiya, dont have the mood to spot eye candies anyway. Not in the good mood today lah, cant understand wadsup with me, everything just dont seem right. Is it because of you?

After dinner at plaza sg, brandon came over and joined us for pool at hougang plaza. Never touch pool like 2 months? but still can win most of the matches lah. Haha, lady luck came at the wrong time I guess :/

Going sentosa tomorrow, hope the weather is fine :)

Meetup with my basketball clique at queensway today. Late by 30 mins, stupid bus 153. 1 hour trip but spotted some eye candies (scgs, cjc) along the way, lols!

Bought this shoe from some ah neh neh shop, damn irritating pls. Very very bad+_l_ service, but I still buy from them anyway.

Yeah youknowwhy, cause they only have tt pair there! Arghh. Ate some katong laksa, very average but nice.

And that teh terik thingy was funny, I think. shhh! Oh yah, bought a FBT short too.

Yarh after that, rushed back to Hougang to meet some guy. Sold off my beige colour crumpler, finally woot! HAHA, and he bought it in some a hurry, just pass me the money and went off. Didnt even check okay, omg I think he trust me lah. Alrite, I shouldnt mind this, but yarh :))

I'm reading this novel now, very interesting plot. Ehh not about history pls.

Devils Wear Prada

Caught this good show with snow white at the cathay. Erm, we watched in 'The Grand Cathay' mind you! Omg, the hall was super big, uhmm the biggest I went to? Oh yarh, we decided to be random, and swapped to another seat since there were lotsa of empty seats infront.

Hahahah! got kick okayy..

Anyway, one good point about the movie is the eye candies there.

Yarh, this is wad I called euro fashion. Rock babe!

Anyway, we have subway after the show. Omg, I can laugh till death the way she ate her sandwich. Now I knew the lettuce there is lethal, and it is a major turn-off! lols.

Then we ate Coer Noir from Bakerzin, yarh rocks as usual. HAHA

And we have a good heart-to-heart talk while on the way home.

Sometimes, I feel so fortunate to know nice people around me

and I will learn to treasure it of cause :)

My respect to Steve Irwin

He is one great soul.

Brave through all the dangerous croc and even deadly spider just to put his documentary across

Sadly, he died on the job ;(

He is the one that make me glued to the square box watching crocodile hunter, with my bro as well.

Sometime people view him as a lunatic, doing crazy crazy stunt with those animal for a few seconds of snapshot.

But nobody dare to doubt his love for animal, that for sure.

My condolences. We will definitely miss you. I know the crocs will too! -sniffs-

okie, I know this is nothing much but it is a call for celebration for me
after which like endless donkey years of begging
I finally can get one.
But I gonna fork half of it. Sighh gonna be more poor!

AHH and I feel like blogging about my mum now
cause she bought me a new wardrobe after I complained that I saw some termites around the old one. That is random of her okayy.. oh and a water bottle too! lols
More storage space for all the junkies.
Yarh, i think next time If i would ever play hide-and-seek with my nephew/niece, this could be a good hiding place. Wahaha!

Anyway, I went back to my alumni school yesterday
Saw Lai Lai(my fav form teacher of all time), omg she grew more chubby(shhh..) lah!
Sigh, this is only when we graduated that she changes. Must be stressful teaching us!
hahaha, I guess so lah. most will agree. HAHA..

My throat is still pain, freakkkkk. Oh yesh, I going to learn levitating one day! watch me.
