Do you remember?
30 November 2006
Well my life has been ridiculously hectic lately or should I say rigid?
You and I are the same.

Let's put it this way.

YOU attend school every day of the week except for the weekend, trying your very best to absorb from every lectures and tutorials. YOU obediently stay back after school to finish the endless amount of projects. Afterwhich YOU head home and tuck in your favorite home cook meal prepared by your maid/mum (in my case, mum). Have a fierce fight with the scrawny yet lethal tutorials, before YOU end your day by checking out the internet mails.

Sound familiar? How interesting that I am able to summarize my day with 5 lines of sentences, or rather the lack of interest in the content? Forget the day, MOS is da tickling bomb that keep me going. Oh well, I feel much better that tomorrow is a Friday instead of a Monday. At least it comforts me.. lol!

On the other hand, I can't wait for Christmas to arrive.

And yes, did I mention Santa flown by my window last night and I saw some gifts dropping out of his RED BIG BAG (Ipod shuffle, Crumpler, a pair of sneaker and some blurry items that I can't recall right now)

You have been forewarned =))

Routes to happier life
27 November 2006
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Life is not about hitting the black ball in
and saying GG! (Good game)
to your opponent.

There's no shortage of advice in how to become a happier person, as a visit to any bookstore will demonstrate. Problem is which really work? AHHH anal me =/

For decades, a widely accepted view has been that people are stuck with a basic setting on their happiness thermostat. It says the effects of good or bad life events like marriage, a raise, divorce, or disability will simply fade with time.

One person (not saying who) found a rather promise for include thinking about the happiest day in your life over and over again, without analyzing it, and writing about how you'll be 10 years from now, assuming everything goes just right. Interesting isn't it?

Been reading through numerous articles and blogs (idontknowhichone), I found this quote 'Happiness is the process, not a place' rather meaningful..

Yeshh many of us think that when we get everything just right, and obtain certain goals and circumstances, everything will be in place and we will be happy... But once we get everything in place, we still need new aims and activities. The Prince could not just stop when he got the Princess.

In fact, happiness probably is about working your way through and striving. (Yawnz*)

Beat me. Super tired. Hitting the sack now, gd night people!

We watched 'happy feet' instead. A pretty nice and heartwarming comedy!
Spotted Peiwen and his dovey bf at the cineplex.
And fortunately for some happy reason, I met Edwin & gang in ps,
Heyy carrefour is really a food paradise isn't it? (Lays and sushi lol)
Had supper after the movie, and we did some good catching-up
Oh yah, the show played alot of oldies esp Stevie Wonder's popular hit songs.

Things You Would Never Know Without Chinese Swordsman Movies

1. Being the hero's parents will always be unlucky and will usually be killed by enemies when the hero is young, and the hero will become an orphan.

2. When a man is wounded and dying, he always manage to catch his breath and speak a few sentences to reveal the killer before dropping his head and declared dead.

3. Skilled people are able to fly over roof tops, up trees and across distances without any sweat. But when travelling to towns and villages, they still have to walk or ride horses.

4. The heroes need not have to work for money, but will always have gold and silvers with them to pay for their dishes.

5. The heroes and villains will meet each other very often no matter how big the country is and no matter where they are.

6. Healing internal wounds in the body is as easy as sitting down cross-legged, palms on the knees and smoke coming out from the head.

7. They can keep a lot of stuff in their sleeves and waistband and never drop them (carrying especially lots of those gold and silver ingots)

Business finance is a goner, terrible terrible terrible! =(

You were just a dream that i once knew
I never thought i would be right for you
I just can't compare you with anything in this world
You're all i need to be forevermore

I can't help it, but I still think of you. I know I am stupid to feel this way, but the wound is still there. I am curious of your every movement, the life you are leading right now, but..
I don't dare to show I care.

Will you press the stop button, put down everything that you are doing, and marvel at a leaf?

How freakking sad but I can't do anything without feeling guilty.

Anyway, I watched Material Girls with the sec schmates today at cineplex. It was a bimbotic show but reasonably nice since hot Hilary Duff starred in it, like wth haha. Yah, I havent watch step up yet due to some s-c-r-e-w reasons, amazingly dduummbb please :(

Apparently Li Boon rocks my sock right now! for not ps-ing me. Step up next week yo!

When I was about to rattle on how mundance my life (urgh!) can be, I unconsiously smack two ants on the table due to sheer disinterest. Apparently, they don't deserve such a horrid death but they dont deserve a better fate since the moment they crawled across Mr grumpy geekinthewhite's desk.

Err ants ants ants. In my term, kill them whenever possible, no comma fullstop.
To top it off, Mr MSN is on a rampage as well, pls do your work by delivering the msg!

Anw, I have been chewing on a gum called 'boring life' for the past few days. Unbelievably dead if you dont consider those few times dropping by below mama shop and the optical shop across the street. Yesh, I have been going home straight after school.
I am a good boy wth thankyew.

I wan do some major retail therapy before the sickening 7% kick in,
catch some good movies asap (step up!!),
some 'serious' chilling (eski bar, chijmes),
and ample hours of good basketball.

On a lighter note, I have with me 15 free MOS invites (It's mos burger dumbass, yarhh free meal!). This 'highly anticipated' event is held on 23 Nov Thursday. And hell no it is not an underage party buffet (can't be help Karen), only for eighteen and above. If you get my drift, ring me before the tics are gone.

I think it's the exhaustion that create all these hype, heck care I shall make it a point to sleep before midnite everyday except 23 Nov.

Love is all that i can give to you.
Love is more than just a game for two.
Two in love can make it.
Take my heart and please don't break it.
Love was made for me and you.

Sinfonia 2006 -music from around the world-

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Full house, seats were fully taken.
There was a surprisingly big turn up for the performance, far exceeding from expectation.
To the large extent that some people even had to sit on the aisle and the walkway!
That was like woahh ha-ha.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

It was a very heartwarming and moving performance overall.
The songs 'Hero' and 'I will survive' sung by a SHS gal was simple stunning.
Erm, she look so ravishing and sweet, I bet everybody's eyes was on her instead of the orchestra.
Well enough say, she had a splendid performance nonetheless.
And there was a student conductor during a small portion, she handled very well.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

This is one of the best symphony orchestra I have ever attend, really! =)))

Destiny is not a matter of chance,

it is not a thing to be waited for,

Project Superstar II

I woke up this morning on wad was quite possibly one of the worse morning, with a running nose that threatened to take over the flat anytime and a jarring knock from the bed edge to my toe, &%#$!

Goddam the morning blessing, but thanks it did not prolong.

Fuck, the significant amount of projects and ICAs are taking a toll on me.
I usually don't swear that much really
Year two is significantly different from year one, whereas if you never buck up or slack (too much), you maybe or will get left behind. Unless you are those bright student who absorb everything from the lect, how ironic but i don't belong there.

Tomorrow gotta hand up MM report, have to do abit of ICT project. Sunday by hook or by crook, maybe will must mug for business law test which will be on mon. Follow by several submission of projects.. OKAYYY, enough say of sch stuff urghh.

Is too competitive..

On a lighter note, I did okayy for ICT e-quiz, reasonably alrite compared with others.
Yarh I did pass but disappointed with the result still.
Sigh can't be help. If I really have a liking for IT, I would most probably ended up in SIT or something right haha.

Honestly speaking, I'm looking forward to school tomorrow; able to touch basketball again, yesh t-o-u-c-h. And yarh, Sinfonia as well! Many insincere thanks to Hsien Yew, I manage to get a work stint at sentosa on sat ahahaha.

Plus I swear I will miss mcflurry when she fly for HK on fri =D (prezzie?)

Learn from yesterday,
live for today,
hope for tomorrow.
The important thing is not to stop questioning

Let the past be a dim distant star
in the universe of your life,
shining softly in predawn light
with the thousand other stars of who you are.
Let memories be gentle in your heart touching you lightly,
a spider`s web caressing your face
on an early morning walk down a wooded trial,
just as the sun comes to show your way.

Let the future be morning`s sharp cool air,
a new breath for this bright day
that enters your body and awakens your soul,
as you walk on from a shadowed still valley
to join the mountain in vivid sunrise.
Let now be the breeze born of light and warmth,
warm air of the sun playing with the cool of night
tickling soft new leaves and bring
stars of day the play in a crystal stream

Sighh, forever don't exist.

Project is such a biatch.

Quote-
"Tanning is the skin's natural defense against ultraviolet rays."

How true, how true, how true ..

Went to try indoor tanning (at Bugis) yesterday, before embarking on the steamboat (and yesh, the food was splendid). Recommended by Esther (aka rAbSter), indoor tanning was highly efficient and cool.
15 mins equilavent to 1 hour under the hot sourching sun, tell me it's cool! And yah, I realised I belong to Phototype IV (some sort of category for tanning).

A whimsically youthful, compact sun bed on which to escape from the stress of the workaday world. The perfect combination of the merits of low pressure and intensive high pressure for the face, together with its efficient ventilation system offer an homogeneous long-lasting tan. For a beautiful tan all year 'round.

They have other several equipments around, namely Njoy Mix and Vega Lux.
